When atmosphere is part of the property July 10, 2026
Some homes need room for the story to breathe
Some properties are best understood through more than a sequence of rooms.
Natural light, gardens, handcrafted details, quiet outdoor spaces, and the
rhythm of moving through the home may be part of what makes the property
memorable.
Introducing Heart & Home™
Watch the Heart & Home introduction
The video introduces a slower, more cinematic listing-video concept. Instead
of concentrating only on layout, the format uses details, pacing, and original
music to communicate the atmosphere of the home.

Realtors, I cannot wait to show you this latest product that we have. You’re going to love it. I know you will. I’m Scott Kemp with Realiant Photography. This is our Media Minute, and today we’re going to talk about Heart & Home™ videos.
Normally, when we go in to do a video—and most other videographers will do this too—we go through with a gimbal, film the house, put some background music behind it and add a couple of titles, and that’s what you get. We really wanted to change that up. Homes are an emotional purchase for people. It can’t be much more emotional than buying a house. We wanted to make a video that speaks to that and calls out that emotion.
I can’t wait to show you this, because it is a good selling point.
What’s different is that we film it very cinematically, so it feels like a movie. We put treatments on it to make it very filmic. We use songs that we have created, and we have created about 20 of them. They are very touching. You hear the lyrics and melodies, and they are basically like earworms: they get in your ear and will not get out.
Why is that a good thing for you as a seller? Because buyers watch these videos and are going to want to watch them again and again because they make you kind of emotional. They activate an emotional part of your brain, and that song is going to get hooked in them. They are going to want to come see it. Before they even get there, they know they are going to love it, and it is just good for everybody.
It is great for the seller too, because they receive a memento of their home in a very special, emotional and musical way. It is a great client gift to give them. I can’t wait to show you a preview of one we’ve done.
I love that I am the guy who will occasionally cry at a movie. I love feeling things and enjoy that part of life. These videos touch me, and the music touches me. We have so many songs, and each one is more addictive than the last one.
I showed one to my wife, who used to be a Realtor. She said that if she had had one of these, she would have done one of these videos for every listing she had. I think you will like it, and we would love to try it for you.
I think it works best with furnished houses rather than empty houses, but we will do it either way. A staged home, a home with the client’s furniture or a home with the seller’s furniture would be a great fit. I think you will agree that they are pretty cool, and we cannot wait to get the word out. If you are watching this, the word is out.

Behind the lens
See the idea in the finished media
A view, a porch, and the relationship between a home and its surroundings can carry the emotional thread of the film.

Choose the story the property can support
The strongest video concept begins with what is actually present. The media
should help a viewer notice the property’s real qualities rather than assign
it a story the space cannot support.
