How adding Drone Services to your Package Increases your Sales

With the increase of technology, we have more resources to help with real estate sales than ever before. One of these essential resources is drone photography. It gives a new way to take pictures of your real estate property, which increases the homebuyer’s experience, leading to more leads. This new way is aerial photography. The ability to get different angles and heights of real estate photography gives the homebuyer a more pleasing experience that puts them in the environment of the home listing.

It also puts you in a good light as it shows your seller and new potential sellers that you will put in that extra effort to help sell your clients homes.

Drones are "streamlining the buying and selling process by providing more visual information at a reasonable cost. Any opportunity you have to further educate the buyer to the property they're purchasing is a win-win for everybody."

CLICK "WITH DRONE" TO SEE BEFORE AND AFTER

Without drone photography, a real estate agent will have to find creative ways to get visually aesthetic pictures for their main feature image to get potential buyers to click. This search leads to wasting time and having their listing live longer on sites due to the lack of clicks.

If a client happens to click on a listing, the real estate agent will have to highlight the experience of living n the house and the environment from a first-person view. With photography alone, this is hard because the angles you can shoot are limited.

Common pitfalls that real estates agents fall into is taking the fastest way to get their listing online. In comparison, it does speed up the process and gets the house in front of buyers sooner. But, unfortunately, it does nothing to increase the chances that buyers will click on your listing.

If you are selling a property with no construction without aerial views, you are selling a picture of dirt. You cannot show a homebuyer the view from what a two-story building would look like or show the overall property size.

This photo attempts to capture both the ocean and the house in the same frame. Unfortunately, it does not fully succeed, and as a result neither element—the ocean nor the house—is highlighted as effectively as it could have been.

A vacant lot property cannot be effectively shown without the use of a drone.

Inserting a Google Earth screenshot tells people that you cut corners in your marketing.

A first-person photograph cannot capture the entire house from a high enough vantage point.

Drone Photography Improves Listing Engagement

As any real estate agent knows, the first photo presented to a potential homebuyer is the most important. If they aren’t intrigued enough by the picture, they won’t click to find out more about your house listing. Drone photography allows agents to showcase the entire front of a property and the environment around it. This added feature shows the same amount of information as multiple handheld photos. Thus, keeping the buyers focused on your listing for a more prolonged time leads to a better chance of them wanting more.

Adding a photo that keeps the viewer on your listing for longer gives you more opportunities to intrigue their interest. In addition, over 90% of buyers are starting their search online, meaning that your first photo will be an essential piece of your selling process for potential buyers browsing the web.

Increase Land Property Listing Clicks

Selling a property without construction is problematic because it is simply land. Before aerial real estate photography, there was no way to highlight certain aspects of a plot of land. Now you can show three super essential features that the homebuyer is looking for.

Show an aerial of the entire land property.

This is important because it lets the house buyer see the whole property without a calculated sheet of paper.

If the property is by a lake, you want to emphasize that in the listing. However, if you have someone holding a camera, they won’t get high enough to show the house and the lake behind it.

Likewise, suppose you have a patio that has a beautiful view of the mountains behind it. In that case, you want to highlight both the deck and the view, with standard means you have to pick which one you want to take a picture, and if you decide to try and fit it all in one, this results in less information about both parts of the house. As a result, the viewer has a worse experience.

The goal of photography is to highlight the house and give the homebuyer more information about their potential home. Aerial photography does precisely this by putting the viewer in the surrounding area. As a result, you are more likely to get calls and requisitions on your properties listings.

Flying A Drone Yourself vs Hiring a Professional

To legally fly a drone for commercial use requires an FAA license. Flying without a license can result in fines, damages and possibly a lawsuit. Realiant drone pilots are trained, licensed, and insured professionals who specialize in real estate photography. Each pilot has completed the required Oregon drone licensing process, which covers more than 120 aviation safety and operational concepts and is administered as a timed certification exam. This training ensures that every flight is conducted safely, legally, and with the experience needed to capture high-quality aerial images for your property listings.

Below are the tasks needed with the effort level to fly a drone yourself vs. hiring a professional
