Why Professional Commercial Photography Matters
Professional commercial photography helps businesses and commercial properties look polished and credible online.
This Realiant Media Minute gives agents, property owners, or building
professionals a concise explanation they can use when planning media or
working with Realiant Photography.
Commercial images may represent a property, a business, a brand, or all three. Strong photography can communicate scale, use, location, atmosphere, and professionalism more clearly than quick phone photos.
The goal is to make the product, process, and practical value easier to
understand before the next project.

Realtors ask, do you guys shoot commercial real estate? And the answer is, yes, we do. I am Scott Kemp with the Realiant Media Minute. And we do.
And it’s so important, you guys. This commercial real estate can be very expensive and millions of dollars. And you want to put your best foot forward with that, show it in the best light. And a lot of the times, this commercial real estate is getting marketed to a very wide area.
You could have somebody from Montana want to buy it, or California to build a new store. You never know where these are going to come from. And so you’ve got to give them the best package you can so they can see all the details about it. I’ve seen examples of commercial realtors that have like three pictures and they’re all taken on their cell phones.
And guys, you’re not saving money by doing that. You may be making it harder for potential buyers to understand the property. Spend a little money, get a proper media package and really market this product. It can also help market you because when people see that you’ve got multi-million dollar commercial listings, they’re going to know that people trust you.
And that is huge. I mean, trust factor is a big thing. People see it. They go, oh, wow, somebody spent two million or have a two million dollar listing.
They must know their stuff. So here’s one that we got here. We just did for Jason Cadwell. It’s on the coast, a beautiful spot near Newport.
Well, in Newport. And you might have even seen that as you’ve driven by it. So it’s a great listing. I’m sure it’s going to be a million and a half, two million, two and a half.
I don’t know. It’s going to be a lot of dollars. It’s going to be a two comma building for sure. And so we’ve got, this is our single page website, which we give you when you buy the marketing package.
Jason May has got some videos on how to order that. But this is their landing page when they see it and they can come down and they can see everything about it and Mr. Cadwell ordered the full package for this one. He wanted to knock it out of the park for his seller.
So he’s got the 3D tour in there. So we can pop in there and walk around and look at the different areas. We can go to the back, see what the warehouse is like, up, down and all around. The guy’s giving me a crud for saying that, but that’s my tagline with these three 3D tours, up, down and all around.
So yeah, it’s a kind of a neat building and they’re looking to sell it. So if you guys know if somebody needs a commercial building like this, give Jason the call and he will hook you up. So that’s our 3D tour for that. And of course these are all branded.
So they’re going to see you on there. And of course we have an unbranded version for the MLS, but yeah, let me jump back in here. We can keep scrolling down and then see all the photos. We can see how it relates to Newport.
There it is as you’re coming down Highway 34 into the beautiful Newport coast. And so we do some placement shots here. We can see the Yekwena Bay there and how it’s situated. So drone photos, again, Jason spared no expense on this listing.
And yeah, we’ve got a lot of photos. We’re going to show things like signage because people that are interested in buying a commercial building are interested in what signage is available. They’re interested in the back lot, the access to where they’re going to get trucks to load into. So yeah, we’ve got some interior pictures.
I mean, some of it’s pretty straightforward. Not much to, you can’t start to get too artistic with some of that stuff. We’ve got a basement down the bottom for further inventory. Yeah, and then Jason also ordered a video package.
I think it’s up here somewhere. So it’s a nice little video walkthrough of it. We’ll play that here. So again, I got the Yekwena Bay Bridge in the background.
Yeah, drone does a good job of showing the location. Have a little fun with it, do some nice shots. So yeah, we’ve got kind of a flooring store here on one side and an old mattress store that’s no longer there. I’m going to scrub around here.
There’s some of the back areas, kind of loading zone. So anyway, we’re happy to do videos for it as well. And the cool thing about these single-page websites, which you guys are going to love, of course floor plans, but it’s got your contact information at the bottom of it. When people are interested, the page gives them a direct way to contact you as the listing agent.
Of course, you always want that. If you don’t want to take it on as dual agency, you can at least get a referral to one of your colleagues and receive a referral fee where appropriate. So that’s the awesome thing. When you’re doing a listing and you don’t order this website, you’re going to send them to Realtor.com.
You’re going to send them to your Zillow page. You’re going to send them to even your brokerage page. The problem is you’ve got competition there. You’re going to see ads for other brokers.
You’re going to see other properties that a buyer may see. And you don’t want them really to see that. You kind of want them to focus on this property. You want them to focus on you because that’s where you get paid.
You don’t get paid if they go to Zillow and they get distracted by another listing or find another broker. Yeah, you don’t get paid. So you don’t want that. You see single-page websites that keeps them on your social media, keeps them on your contact forms and that focused experience can generate a lead and you can decide how to deal with that.
So short answer. Well, maybe it’s not so short now. Yes, we do commercial photography. We’d love to help you.
